The Digital Training Production Coordinator coordinates the design, development, storage, maintenance, and organization of digital training products for INTERPOL's Virtual Academy Portal. The role ensures high quality, accessible, scalable, and sustainable digital training resources aligned with member countries' needs and INTERPOL standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the development and management of the Virtual Academy repository of digital training products, ensuring accessibility, scalability, sustainability, and compliance with training quality standards, IT security and legal requirements.
  • Oversee organization, maintenance and management of law enforcement digital training content on the CBT platform(s) by coordinating with Digital Learning Solutions Unit, content creators and subject matter experts to upload, update, and curate learning materials.
  • Ensure content is tagged, categorized, accessible to intended law enforcement audience, and aligned with INTERPOL Training Standards and quality requirements.
  • Ensure all digital training products operate correctly and efficiently, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and collaborate with IT teams or external vendors to address technical challenges and upgrades.
  • Provide user support, addressing queries and issues related to digital training products.
  • Develop documentation and resources such as user guides, best practices or FAQs to assist users.
  • Supervise and ensure support in delivery of digital training courses, including first level troubleshooting during delivery.
  • Support Digital Learning Platforms Unit in facilitating user access to digital learning resources through secure websites, mobile devices and apps.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track functionality, user engagement, and overall digital training product performance.
  • Generate reports on KPIs and training data for institutional reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Identify trends and areas for enhancement based on data analysis to optimize digital training production and user experience.
  • Support creation and implementation of evaluation mechanisms for digital training and propose improvements based on evaluation results.
  • Provide consultancy on new digital training product technologies and best practices to member countries and maintain partnerships with police academies, international organizations and external partners.
  • Manage team and Unit’s performance ensuring objectives, Annual Business Plan and Unit Working Plan are accomplished.
  • Perform any other duties as required by hierarchy.

Requirements

  • University degree of at least three to four years, preferably in education, digital training or a related discipline.
  • Certification related to digital training management, digital learning development and/or E-Learning development tools.
  • Attendance of advanced police training programme(s) for police officers is an asset.
  • At least five years’ experience in Digital Training development and related projects management.
  • Experience in planning and managing complex tasks, with only minimum supervision.
  • Experience working in an international environment would be highly desirable; either from employment in an international organization or from participating in e.g. international working groups, joint international projects etc.
  • Experience in identifying training needs, developing and conducting training programmes, preferably operational training.
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic police issues / communication needs will be considered an asset.
  • Professional fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in another official languages of the Organization (Arabic, French, Spanish) will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills, including the use of advance authoring and development tools for digital training products.
  • Strong sense of initiative to convert needs and ideas into action.
  • Good interpersonal skills to secure cooperation of a range of officials throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated maturity and professionalism combined with effective communication skills, particularly in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
