The World Bank Group Treasury is seeking an E T Consultant to support the Pension Investments team in implementing investment management systems and leveraging digital tools to streamline workflows, enhance data analytics, and embed automation across investment operations. The role involves coordinating investment administration tasks and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement IT solutions that improve investment processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the end-to-end implementation of the Investment Management System, including scoping, configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Participate in conversations with internal stakeholders (investment officers, risk, compliance, IT, finance) and external vendors to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support the design of data migration strategies, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation across legacy and new systems.
- Facilitate UAT sessions with end users, documenting issues and driving resolution with the vendor.
- Support the creation of user training materials and deliver training sessions for investment and operations staff.
- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of the new system across the team.
- Support designing and deploying AI-powered automation flows using Power Automate's AI Builder capabilities, including document processing, data extraction from investment reports, and intelligent routing of tasks.
- Support building Power Bi dashboards to monitor investment activities.
- Monitor, maintain, and continuously optimize automated workflows, ensuring reliability and alignment with evolving business processes.
- Document all automation flows with clear process maps and operational guides for team use.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree with at least 5 years relevant work experience, or combination of degree and experience equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience implementing or configuring investment management platforms and the use of Microsoft suite tools (Power Automate, PowerBi, Copilot Studio, etc).
- Strong understanding of pension fund or institutional investment operations, including front-to-back office workflows.
- Experience working in international financial institutions, asset management firms, or pension funds is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or Excel at an advanced level).
- Understanding of system integration patterns, APIs, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent skills in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating work.
- Capacity to deliver a substantial and proficient level of work independently.
- Sense of responsibility, integrity, and positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact tactfully in internal/external contacts at all levels, exercising good judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and expand the scope of work and responsibilities, with willingness to work overtime on short notice and committed to achieving individual and team results.
