The International Criminal Court (ICC) is seeking a Visiting Professional to support the Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) External Relations Team. The role involves research, analysis, donor engagement support, and preparation of documentation to assist in strategic decision-making and outreach activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide research and analytical inputs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of the TFV’s engagements in multilateral fora.
  • Support donor mapping, positioning, and engagement planning through targeted research and analysis.
  • Prepare documentation for bilateral meetings with States Parties, donors, and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the preparation and drafting of donor proposals, briefing notes, and tailored outreach materials.
  • Draft, review, and update donor reporting documents in accordance with donor requirements and ICC/TFV standards.
  • Perform other duties as required by the External Affairs Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Degree from a recognised university.
  • Advanced academic background in Political Science, International Relations, Law, Social Sciences, Public Administration design, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with SharePoint is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; proactive communicator and collaborator.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency (written and spoken) in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required.
  • Working knowledge of another UN official language of the Court (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish) is an asset.
  • Applicants must be able to support themselves financially as the position is unfunded.
