ICT Transition User Support Coordinator – Temporary Staff

The ICT Transition User Support Coordinator provides tactical level technical coordination for ICT transition and user support at HQ JSEC. The role involves coordination of user support, asset management, phone management, exercise user support, and network administration to ensure operational readiness and support for JSEC users.

Responsibilities

• Support JSEC users in the ICT transition as tactical level technical coordinator
• Coordinate JSEC user support and asset management for end user equipment in cooperation with the User Help Desk
• Manage SINA asset handling including token and card handling, port activation/deactivation, relocation of ICT equipment, and troubleshooting hardware malfunctions
• Manage BWI phone coordination including phone register maintenance, port activation/deactivation, relocation of IT equipment, and troubleshooting hardware malfunctions
• Assist in Exercise user support with NCIA Support Office regarding CIS provision and short notice layout changes in exercise/operations buildings
• Network administrator for JSEC provided Open Internet including network troubleshooting, cable patching, and coordination with service providers (Telekom and BWI)

Requirements

• Secondary or Higher Secondary Education with 5 years of post-related experience
• Inherent ICT understanding
• CISCO network administration skills (small LAN)
• Good English skills, SLP 3333 - (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
• German language skills preferred (SLP 2222 – limited working level)
• Possession of a valid NATO security clearance at the time of application or ability to reactivate or obtain one swiftly
