See your match score & applyThe International Rescue Committee (IRC) Deutschland is seeking a Referent*in for Beruf & Orientierung to support people with refugee and migration backgrounds in entering the labor market and entrepreneurship. The role involves developing accessible and language-sensitive learning and qualification materials, organizing training, and providing social-pedagogical support in the project PRIMA-Lab, funded by the EU and German government.
Responsibilities
- Develop, create and ensure quality of barrier-free, language-sensitive learning and qualification materials and self-empowerment resources for people with refugee backgrounds in digital and analog formats.
- Conceptualize and develop self-learning materials, guides, manuals and practical resources to promote inclusive access to the labor market considering various perspectives.
- Participate in the conception, organization, implementation and evaluation of qualification and training formats for different target groups focusing on inclusive and low-barrier design and psycho-social support.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of training, information and awareness-raising offers for professionals, employers, partner organizations and migrant self-organizations regarding training materials.
- Support individual social-pedagogical accompaniment.
- Assist in coordinating program activities and services in close cooperation with project partners, counseling centers and other involved organizations.
Requirements
- Completed studies or comparable qualification in communication, media education, humanities or educational sciences.
- Knowledge in German as a second language (DAZ) and subject-specific language didactics and development of subject-specific learning materials.
- Experience in developing analog and digital learning materials and platforms considering accessibility for the target group.
- Experience working with people with migration backgrounds or with visible or invisible disabilities.
- Experience in developing training courses and leading workshops.
- Knowledge in developing IFSL materials and language-sensitive work instructions is an advantage.
- Teamwork skills, organizational competencies, willingness to collaborate with partners and networking.
- German language skills at C1 level and English at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Additional language skills spoken by the target group (e.g., Ukrainian, Arabic, Dari) are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly (approx. 10% of working time).
