See your match score & applyThe Economic Empowerment VISTA member will contribute to IRC Denver’s Economic Empowerment programs by supporting stabilization, poverty reduction, and community integration for refugees and asylees. The role involves developing programmatic policies, monitoring frameworks, resource mapping, and client feedback tools to enhance program responsiveness and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Draft programmatic policies and procedures for review by IRC staff.
- Research and assist in development of frameworks to monitor programs and outcomes.
- Develop resource-mapping systems.
- Design surveys or other client feedback tools and review client feedback to increase agency understanding and responsiveness.
- Further develop systems and monitoring tools.
- Evaluate current programs and analyze data to capture unmet client needs or unreached clients.
- Develop curriculum and program materials.
- Conduct resource mapping and create referral resource banks.
- Provide written reports on recommendations.
Requirements
- Must commit to completing 12 months of full-time service beginning September 8, 2026.
- Schedule is 37.5 hours per week with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
- Must meet all AmeriCorps requirements and apply through the AmeriCorps website.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Openness to working with people from varied backgrounds.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment among dedicated professionals.
