See your match score & applyThe Content & Media Manager will lead the development and delivery of broadcast-driven content and overseas field trips to support IRC Korea's fundraising campaigns. This role manages DRTV operations, collaborates with broadcasters and production partners, and executes TV and digital campaign activities to grow sustainable fundraising income.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with broadcasters and production companies on joint content initiatives.
- Plan and operate overseas field trips for content and story development.
- Support on-the-ground story sourcing and coordinate with stakeholders for programme production.
- Develop strategies to convert broadcast content into fundraising assets.
- Develop storytelling content on themes such as the climate crisis, malnutrition, and refugee and humanitarian crises.
- Support production of TV programmes in partnership with broadcasters.
- Plan DRTV and digital campaign assets derived from broadcast content.
- Develop channel-specific fundraising creative.
- Plan and manage DRTV operations end-to-end, including scheduling, budget, and KPIs.
- Manage the dedicated DRTV call center, including performance monitoring and vendor coordination.
- Execute TV/digital campaign activity in line with the integrated marketing strategy set by the Fundraising Campaign Manager.
- Deliver assigned new-sustainer acquisition activity within the budget and targets set by the Fundraising Campaign Manager.
- Manage external production vendors and agencies directly related to TV/DRTV content, field trips, and the DRTV call center.
- Track KPIs and budget for trip, TV, DRTV, and DRTV call center activities under this role's ownership.
- Provide regular performance reports on assigned campaign components.
- Contribute campaign ROI analysis and improvement recommendations for assigned activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or campaign-related roles.
- Excellent storytelling and content planning skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects independently.
- Strong data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent both in Korean and English.
- Experience in broadcast production or the content industry (desirable).
- Experience with DRTV campaigns and/or call center operations (desirable).
- Experience in digital performance marketing (desirable).
- Experience in the NGO or international development sector (desirable).
- Experience operating overseas filming or international projects (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- This role requires at least two overseas trips per year, each of which may involve approximately two weeks or more of on-location stay.
