The consultant will adapt and deliver financial literacy and inclusion training materials for displacement-affected communities in Armenia under the ELEVATE project. Responsibilities include material adaptation, training delivery, monitoring, reporting, and coordination with IOM and partners.

Responsibilities

• Review and adapt financial literacy, financial inclusion and budgeting training materials for displacement-affected households.
• Develop practical exercises, case studies, budgeting templates, and interactive learning materials.
• Ensure materials are gender-sensitive, conflict-sensitive and aligned with IOM protection principles.
• Deliver 12 one-day practical training sessions in selected communities across Shirak, Lori, Tavush and Gegharkunik marzes.
• Facilitate interactive sessions using adult-learning methodologies and participatory approaches.
• Provide practical guidance on household budgeting, managing income and expenditures, goal-based financial planning, savings practices, responsible borrowing and debt management, understanding financial products and services, fraud awareness and safe financial decision-making.
• Support participants in developing individual or household financial action plans.
• Coordinate with IOM and media company to align training content with campaign messages.
• Develop pre- and post-knowledge tests and collect participant feedback.
• Review participant learning outcomes and document lessons learned and good practices.
• Produce a final training report summarizing activities, participant profiles, learning outcomes, feedback, challenges and recommendations.
• Submit finalized training materials and conduct a debriefing session with IOM staff and partners.
• Participate in coordination meetings and mandatory IOM security and ethical trainings.
• Address comments from IOM offices on draft materials and reports until final approval.
• Adhere to IOM standards, policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Education, Social Sciences, Adult Education or another relevant field.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in financial literacy, financial inclusion, household finance, consumer financial education or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programmes for adults.
• Experience working with vulnerable populations, refugees, displaced persons or livelihood programmes is highly desirable.
• Experience collaborating with public institutions, financial institutions, development agencies or international organizations.
• Proven experience adapting educational content and developing training materials.
• Experience in participatory facilitation and adult-learning methodologies.
• Strong understanding of personal finance, budgeting and financial inclusion concepts.
• Excellent training, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple and practical manner.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in Armenian (oral and written) is required.
• Working knowledge of English is required.
• Working knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
