The role involves ensuring adherence to eligibility and reporting rules and producing certification reports according to project schedules.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and certify compliance with IOM standard regulations and procedures for service and supply procurement processes undertaken by IOM Italy as per AMIF 2021-2027 Eligibility and Reporting rules Manual.
- Evaluate and certify compliance of service and supply procurement procedures undertaken by project partners ANCI and Cittalia in accordance with AMIF 2021–2027 Eligibility and Reporting Rules Manual and the Grant Agreement.
- Respect the reporting schedule for the F.A.S.T.E.R. project: first interim report by 30 October 2026 and second interim report by 15 May 2027.
- Respect the reporting schedule for the RI.VOL.A.RE in RE.TE project: third interim report by 30 October 2026 and final report by 15 August 2027.
- Produce certificate opinions to be attached to IOM payment periodical requests and final reports for both projects.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer registered as practitioner to the relevant Bar with a working experience of at least 5 years.
- Fluency in Italian and English (oral and written).
- Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
- IOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy.
- Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
- Appointment will be subject to certification that the candidate is medically fit for appointment, accreditation, any residency or visa requirements, security clearances.
- IOM has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct incompatible with the aims and objectives of the United Nations and IOM, including sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority and discrimination.
- IOM does not charge a fee at any stage of its recruitment process.
