The Intern will support reporting, information management and related programme support functions within the Policy and Programme Support Unit under supervision. The role includes assisting in donor reports, maintaining reporting tools, supporting meetings, and providing technical support to programme units.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, compilation, and timely submission of donor reports, as well as other mission-specific reports or donor proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
  • Support the collection, consolidation and organization of inputs from programme teams for reports, updates, briefing notes and other reporting-related documents.
  • Assist in maintaining reporting trackers, information management tools and shared filing systems to support reporting processes.
  • Support the review, formatting and quality assurance of reports and other programme-related documents.
  • Participate in and provide support for program-related meetings and conferences at both the national and international levels.
  • Provide technical support to Programme Units on the use of PRIMA, as needed.
  • Support other PPSU functions as needed including project development, monitoring and evaluation and compliance.
  • Undertake travel duties relating to project/programme monitoring, liaison with counterparts, problem solving, and new project/programme development, as required.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

  • University degree in Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Political Science, International Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
  • Previous internship, volunteer, academic, or professional experience related to reporting, research, information management, programme support, communications, or administration is an advantage.
  • Experience in designing and managing information management tools to facilitate report writing.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy, especially database tools and strong Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to review, consolidate and organize information from multiple sources.
  • Proven ability to produce quality work accurately and concisely according to set deadlines.
  • Ability to timely understand the Organization’s structure and portfolios.
  • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in migration, development, humanitarian, or related fields.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in Thai is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Thai is an advantage but is not required.
