EAGLE Recruitment Consultant

The EAGLE Recruitment Consultant will support the development and implementation of the candidate selection framework for the Skills Mobility Partnership between Austria and Egypt. The consultant will provide technical advice on selection criteria, contribute to employer outreach strategies, and support engagement with Austrian companies to facilitate employment opportunities for project graduates.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a coordination meeting with IOM Austria, IOM Egypt, and the selected service provider and submit a workplan outlining the timeline, activities, and coordination approach
• Provide technical advice on the development of the EAGLE candidate selection framework through consultation meetings and review of selection criteria and eligibility framework
• Submit a written summary document of recommendations based on Austrian recruitment best-practices and standards
• Review and provide recommendations on the EAGLE private sector outreach, employer engagement, and candidate promotion approach
• Present and discuss recommendations with IOM Austria and provide feedback on the implementation approach
• Support engagement with key stakeholders and identify potential Austrian employers interested in hiring EAGLE graduates
• Submit a list of at least 25 companies, focusing on SMEs in the metal processing and transportation sectors, including an assessment of their potential interest and relevance

Requirements

• Proven experience in recruitment, candidate assessment, and selection processes
• Proven experience in private sector engagement and employer outreach, ideally in the metal processing sector
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of the Austrian labour market, employer needs, and labour migration frameworks is a distinct advantage
• Fluency in German and English is required
• IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish
• Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments
• Travel is not required
