See your match score & applyThe IT Business Analyst serves as the bridge between Business and IT within INTERPOL's IS/IPP/IT Projects Department. The role involves evaluating business needs, managing project roadmaps, ensuring adoption of IT solutions, and collaborating closely with business counterparts and IT teams to support AI transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the Initiation Phase of projects to help identify relevant requirements and assist in drafting Concept Notes and Project Proposals.
- Analyse project opportunities and identify existing products to minimize overlap and leverage existing solutions.
- Collect business needs and change requests, develop comprehensive end-to-end use cases, and determine features/user stories for solutions.
- Coordinate with Solutions Architects for technical specifications.
- Screen the market for off-the-shelf solutions and participate in call for tender processes including evaluation of bids.
- Embed in project teams to follow up on IT projects, prioritize features/user stories, and adjust specifications as needed.
- Assist the Business during product launch by preparing test cases/plans, supporting test phases, and participating in adoption and training activities.
- Create communication channels with Support teams to collect feedback and track evolution needs.
- Represent Business interests to ensure benefits and propose improvements or automation to existing processes and products.
- Participate in incident resolution and problem management as third line support.
- Keep updated on market evolution within the perimeter.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Three-to-four years’ education at a University or other specialized higher education establishment.
- ITIL Certification.
- At least three years in the area in question.
- Ten years’ experience in the area is required if the post holder does not have the required level of education.
- Working knowledge of English is required.
- Fluency in English is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in a second official language of the Organization (Arabic, French or Spanish) would be an additional asset.
- Knowledge of AI and automation technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and robotic process automation.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform business decisions.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and technologies, including data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of automation technologies, including robotic process automation and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning (desirable).
- Knowledge of NLP techniques and technologies, including text analysis and sentiment analysis (desirable).
- Knowledge of data science concepts and techniques, including wrangling, visualization, and modeling (desirable).
- Practical knowledge of Business Analysis.
- Standard methodologies and frameworks knowledge: COBIT, BABOK, etc.
- Very good communication skills.
- Initiative, creativity (original thinking) and curiosity.
- Open-minded personality.
- Ability to work in a massively multi-cultural environment.
- Knowledge of the law enforcement/police domain would be an advantage.
