This internship provides practical experience in Human Resources, focusing on recruitment processes, task management, and exposure to international HR practices within INTERPOL. The intern will support HR management in various administrative and recruitment-related tasks, gaining insight into HR operations in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support team meetings through agenda development, minutes taking, and action item tracking.
  • Support recruitment processes with publication of vacancies, candidate screenings, arrangement of testing and interview sessions.
  • Contribute to special projects and HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and best practices to HR processes and procedures.
  • Manage correspondence, inboxes, and follow-ups for HR-related matters.
  • Assist in special projects and HR initiatives related to recruitment.
  • Perform administrative tasks and other duties as required by HR management.

Requirements

  • Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 196 member countries.
  • Have attained the legal age in the country of nationality.
  • Be enrolled in a, or have graduated from, a post­secondary accredited academic institution within the past one year on the date of submission of their application in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or related fields of study.
  • Professional fluency in English is required – B2 or greater.
  • Proficiency in French will be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of a third INTERPOL official language (Arabic or Spanish) would be considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is required.
  • Knowledge with Power BI or Tableau would be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational abilities, time management skills and ability to prioritize and provide assistance on multiple projects.
  • Excellent research, analytical, reporting and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in the HR domain.
  • Attention to details and willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently on projects and tasks.
  • Excellent writing skills.
