See your match score & applyThe Data & Analytics Officer supports and monitors key data management processes to enable evidence-based decision-making within the Protection Working Unit. The role involves managing data accuracy, performing quality checks, analyzing datasets, and driving continuous improvements in data management and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain data within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates of records
- Perform comprehensive quality checks on large volumes of data, including reviewing, validating, and identifying inconsistencies, trends, and patterns to support data integrity and operational decision-making
- Analyze complex datasets to detect recurring issues, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas) to process, clean, and structure large datasets efficiently
- Apply SQL (Structured Query Language) queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and bulk updates within databases
- Execute mass data uploads, corrections, and reconciliations while ensuring compliance with established data management procedures
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve data discrepancies and improve data collection and processing workflows
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes, tools, and quality standards
Requirements
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- University degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of BI, SQL, statistical packages, Tableau
- Typically, 3–5 years’ overall professional experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field (Analysis & Evidence, Geographic Information Systems, Data Management, etc.)
- Professional fluency (written and spoken) in English and Ukrainian
- Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to interact effectively with data users, managers and other stakeholders
- Ability to understand new business processes and their interplay with software and organizational structure
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
