Field Operations Intern (2 positions)

The Field Operations Intern will assist the Field Operations Section in maintaining document repositories, preparing financial forecasts, reporting, correspondence, event organization, and promotional activities related to civil aviation projects under ICAO's Capacity Development and Implementation Programme.

Responsibilities

• Populate and maintain FOS document repositories, reporting tools and project management tools.
• Assist in the preparation of FOS financial forecast table.
• Assist in the preparation of FOS reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing correspondence and documents related to new and ongoing projects.
• Assist in preparing and managing resources for the CDI booth at conferences.
• Assist with organizing the CDI Global Implementation Support Symposium (GISS).
• Assist in preparing marketing or promotional material.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a degree programme related to civil aviation, management, economics, international relations, engineering or computer science.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English are essential.
• A working knowledge of any other ICAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) is desirable.
• Interns will receive a stipend but must bear all costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses.
• The internship duration is six months, full-time, five days a week.
• Interns shall not engage in any other form of employment within ICAO during the internship.
• Interns must carry out duties with loyalty, discretion and conscience in accordance with official instructions.
