- Contribute to enabling effective AI-powered knowledge retrieval by consolidating knowledge from fragmented sources and accessible knowledge base.
- Run lightweight, hands-on AI experiments — testing how current tools and agents handle GCF content — to quickly show what is feasible and surface options for the team to pursue.
- Act as a working-level point of contact with the GCF's technical teams, taking part in technical discussions, capturing requirements, and translating between knowledge needs and technical delivery.
- Carry out routine quality checks on AI-generated outputs, covering accuracy, source grounding, and tagging quality, and feeding the results back to improve the system.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge repositories by cleaning, classifying and curating knowledge assets to ensure that information is well-structured and easily retrievable.
- Support the development and implementation of knowledge management frameworks.
- Support the production of knowledge products, including briefs, reports, guidance notes, presentations, and other knowledge documents.
- Conduct research, synthesize information, and organize content into high-quality knowledge products tailored to business and stakeholder needs.
- Identify knowledge needs and facilitate the creation, organization and dissemination of relevant knowledge assets through internal and external communication channels.
- Provide flexible hands-on support across the team's knowledge workstreams, helping each translate its needs into the shared knowledge pipeline.
- Support the management and coordination of data request channels, ensuring timely resolution of data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Validate reported data by performing quality assurance checks, escalate and support the resolution of data quality issues as appropriate.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve data issues, improve data quality, and ensure the availability of reliable data for reporting and analysis.
- Serve as the focal point for assigned thematic areas by coordinating data requests, providing data support to stakeholders and conducting analyses of results.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field: Information Management, Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Management or other related areas
- At least (2) years of experience in knowledge management, data management, information management or a related field.
- Proficiency and experience in AI for knowledge extraction and analytical purposes, engineering of prompts, testing AI systems, and digital information platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining, and organizing document and data repositories, including the proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with GCF project cycles, operational modalities, and applications is desirable.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and initiative in responding to evolving business needs and organizational priorities.
- A genuinely AI-native working style: hands-on experience building with and experimenting on current AI tools and agents (e.g. custom GPTs, Claude projects, copilot and automation features), including outside formal work settings.
- A generalist, execution-oriented mindset — comfortable doing the hands-on legwork and moving across topics as priorities shift.
- A natural translator: able to follow technical conversations and explain them plainly to non-technical colleagues.
