See your match score & applyThe Chargé(e) de Redevabilité will strengthen DRC's accountability to affected populations by implementing, monitoring, and improving feedback, complaints, and response mechanisms (FCRM). The role promotes meaningful community participation and contributes to continuous improvement of program quality, transparency, and effectiveness in line with DRC standards, humanitarian principles, and donor requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor accountability activities according to DRC standards and donor requirements.
- Ensure proper functioning of the community feedback, complaints and response mechanism (FCRM).
- Guarantee confidentiality, data protection and ethical principles in collecting, managing and processing feedback and complaints.
- Collect, analyze and utilize data from feedback mechanisms to improve programs.
- Produce quality reports and capitalize on good practices and lessons learned.
- Promote inclusive, safe and meaningful community participation throughout the project cycle.
- Provide technical support to partners on accountability, community participation and MEAL.
- Strengthen capacities of staff, partners and volunteers on AAP principles, CHS standards and feedback mechanisms.
- Participate in coordination mechanisms and represent DRC in relevant working groups and forums.
- Integrate accountability, protection, safeguarding, gender and inclusion principles into project activities.
- Ensure application of DRC standards and donor requirements in MEAL and accountability.
- Perform any other tasks related to the position as requested by the hierarchical supervisor.
Requirements
- Licence (BAC+3) in social sciences, community development, humanitarian action or related field.
- Minimum of two (02) years of experience in a similar role, notably in accountability/AAP, community participation, MEAL or protection.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Good mastery of digital tools for data collection, management and analysis (KoboToolbox/XLSForm, ActivityInfo, Power BI or similar tools).
- Excellent analytical skills, active listening and community feedback processing.
- Experience conducting individual interviews and focus groups.
- Good understanding of confidentiality principles, data protection and ethical management of sensitive information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with partners and communities.
- Strong rigor, organizational skills and respect for deadlines.
- Good knowledge of the humanitarian and security context in Chad.
- Experience in DRC intervention sectors (Protection, Economic Recovery, Humanitarian Demining, Peacebuilding or Shelter) is an asset.
- Strong commitment to DRC values and mission.
- Mastery of Chadian Arabic is an essential requirement for this position.
- Oral and written proficiency in French.
- Proficiency in local spoken languages.
- Intermediate level in English.
