Responsibilities
- Support the operational follow-up of Hospitality activities, including accommodation-related contracts, day-to-day service coordination, user requests, tickets, feedback and service issues.
- Contribute to the monitoring of service quality, contract performance and operational indicators.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to support the resolution of operational issues and ensure smooth follow-up and communication.
- Support the Organization of the catering component of CERN Open Days 2027.
Requirements
- You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, excluding Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot and Croatian nationals due to ceiling limits.
- By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in the respective field.
- Your highest educational qualification is either a bachelor’s or master’s degree; you must have a university degree and cannot hold a PhD.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Previous exposure to hospitality, accommodation, customer service or contract follow-up would be an asset.
- Interest in service coordination and event support, particularly in the context of large institutional events.
- Your studies focused on Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Service Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Service-oriented mindset, with the ability to respond efficiently to operational needs and provide quality customer service.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to follow up several operational topics in parallel and communicate effectively with users, internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the other language.
