Develop and implement initiatives to maximize access, use, and effectiveness of American Red Cross facilities for program delivery. Provide expert facilities and fleet management support, ensuring compliance with regulations and excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute facilities maintenance for American Red Cross facilities.
  • Develop and execute strategy for the American Red Cross fleet including preventative and corrective maintenance, fleet reporting and analysis, and support process around vehicle reservations.
  • Develop and implement volunteer orientation program to utilize volunteers to support fleet, facilities and general administration operations teams.
  • Collaborate with Volunteer Services to recruit and train assigned volunteers.
  • May directly supervise full-time and part-time volunteers.
  • Monitor, analyze and provide consultation of the regional fleet and facilities budgets.
  • Evaluate operations department outcomes and results to reinforce best in class fleet and facilities management.
  • Develop and maintain active professional relationships with key internal and external partners or vendors.
  • May write, organize or maintain technical sections of the department procedure manual.
  • Enforce organization safety policies, regulations and procedures related to fleet and facilities management.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
  • Drive vehicle to other locations as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to develop project plans and budgets.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of program or service.
  • Maintain confidentiality to work ethically and with integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to create presentations and training modules.
  • Applicable local licensure if required by state directives.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required.
  • May be required to travel.
