Blood Collections Team Supervisor (Fixed Site)

The Blood Collections Team Supervisor leads the blood collection team at a fixed site, ensuring excellent donor experience and team performance. This role involves supervising staff, driving results, and fostering a respectful and friendly environment for donors and employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise blood collection staff at the Donor Center, including training and performance management
• Drive for results and serve others with a high level of respect for customer service
• Personally connect with donors, listen to their stories and help them understand the value of their donation
• Contribute to a friendly and fun environment
• Collaborate with co-workers to encourage donor retention

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience (four to eight years of work experience in a related field) is required
• Minimum two years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes are required
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications
• Prior apheresis or dialysis experience is preferred
• Prior leadership experience exceeding 2 years in a healthcare setting is preferred
