See your match score & applyThe Finance and Administration Officer provides comprehensive finance, logistics, administrative, and asset management support to the Türkiye Resident Mission within the Central and West Asia Department. The role emphasizes asset lifecycle management, compliance with ADB administrative guidelines, and supports efficient office operations, mission logistics, and financial processing.
Responsibilities
- Process routine accounting transactions, including payments, reimbursements, journals, and supporting financial documents.
- Manage accurate electronic and hard copies of financial records in ADB systems and help prepare monthly financial reports, liquidation packages, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and service providers on finance‑related matters.
- Manage administrative filing systems, SharePoint folders, and documentation archives while updating the TURM Fixed Asset Register and tracking all asset movements.
- Improve office supply management, vendor relations, and service contracts while maintaining a supplier roster to monitor performance, contract timelines, and service categories.
- Coordinate annual asset verification, including physical inventory, tagging checks, condition assessments, and reconciliation reporting.
- Support asset disposal processes by preparing documentation, coordinating committee reviews, and updating registers.
- Handle institutional procurement by contacting suppliers, creating requisitions, work orders, evaluating supplier performance for procurement planning and renewal decisions.
- Monitor storeroom inventory, including incoming/outgoing items, stock levels, and usage reporting.
- Perform other tasks aligned with the work plan and evolving departmental priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, law, or relevant subjects, preferably with advanced training.
- At least 8 years of experience in finance, logistics, administration, procurement, and asset management.
- Preferably with related experience in international agencies.
- Proficiency in standard software programs and information technologies including Oracle ERP and related procurement platforms.
- Knowledge in office administration and asset management processes.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications skills in English and Turkish.
