- Support the migration of ingestion pipelines from legacy ETL systems to Databricks-based pipelines and Azure Search indexing, validating outputs, and ensuring continuity in search relevance and metadata quality.
- Assist downstream application teams using legacy search APIs by diagnosing performance issues, mismatches in query results, or schema discrepancies.
- Guide users and product teams through changes in search behavior as the architecture was simplified, helping them understand differences between legacy index behavior and modern cloud-based search patterns.
- Participate in content validation, smoke testing, and quality assurance cycles during phased decommissioning of on-prem components.
- Summarize recurring search and ingestion issues, identify root patterns, and communicate actionable recommendations to engineering teams and modernization programs.
- Provide support for user outreach, Q&A sessions, and transition communications related to search platform upgrades, index consolidations, or pipeline sunsetting activities.
- Contribute advisory insights to ongoing simplification efforts by representing user impacts, highlighting operational inefficiencies in legacy components, and validating the functional readiness of cloud replacements.
