This internship position in ICT at UNICEF Bolivia involves providing first-level technical support to users, managing equipment for donation, and supporting information security tasks. The intern will assist with computer and printer configuration, software installation, inventory control, and cybersecurity awareness campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to users experiencing problems with equipment or applications.
• Assist in configuring computers and printers.
• Support installation and updating of authorized software.
• Prepare quick guides and help materials for users.
• Support installation, formatting, and updating of operating systems for equipment donation.
• Assist in inventory control of equipment for donation.
• Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns.
• Verify compliance with basic IT security procedures in Passkeys configuration.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or have graduated within the last two years in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields for UNICEF work.
• Have excellent academic performance demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
• No direct family members (father, mother, sibling) working in any UNICEF office.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and/or information security is valued.
• Additional experience related to the tasks to be performed is valued.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Fluency in Spanish (oral and written). Intermediate level of English.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have Bolivian nationality or permission to study and work in Bolivian territory.
