See your match score & applyThe Strategic Collaborations and Resource Mobilisation Coordinator supports Save the Children Türkiye to diversify and strengthen its funding base and develop strategic collaborations aligned with the Country Strategic Plan. The role focuses on building domestic corporate and institutional funding, engaging with Save the Children Members, and developing new support channels to sustain and grow the Country Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities
- Support Save the Children Türkiye to diversify and strengthen its funding base and develop strategic collaborations aligned with the Country Strategic Plan.
- Proactively identify, cultivate and manage relationships with Türkiye-based companies, corporate foundations, business networks, chambers of commerce, institutional stakeholders and other prospective supporters.
- Translate programme priorities and impact into relevant funding and collaboration propositions.
- Develop and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline and coordinate engagement from prospecting through partnership development and follow-up.
- Lead structured engagement with Save the Children Members, Global Program Funding and New Business Development Teams to communicate programme priorities, funding needs and emerging opportunities.
- Identify potential institutional and corporate opportunities through Members and support early positioning and concept development.
- Coordinate or contribute to the development of concepts and proposals in collaboration with programme, technical, finance, awards and operational teams.
- Support resource mobilisation and partner engagement during major humanitarian emergencies, adjusting working hours as necessary.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in resource mobilisation, strategic partnership/collaboration development, business development, corporate engagement or a comparable external-facing role, preferably within the nonprofit, development, sustainability or social impact sectors.
- Proven ability to identify, cultivate and maintain productive relationships with a diverse range of external stakeholders, including companies, foundations, institutional funders, business networks, professional associations and senior decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of the Türkiye corporate and institutional landscape, with the ability to identify relevant networks, sectors, funding opportunities and potential areas of collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to translate programme priorities, social issues and evidence of impact into clear and compelling propositions for different audiences, including corporate and institutional stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and managing an opportunity or relationship pipeline, including prospect identification, stakeholder mapping, prioritisation, engagement planning and systematic follow-up.
- Strong networking, influencing and negotiation skills, with confidence representing an organisation in external meetings, events and relationship-building activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, coordinating inputs from programme, technical, finance, awards, communications and operational colleagues.
- Experience contributing to the development of concept notes, funding proposals, partnership proposals or similar donor-facing materials.
- Ability to coordinate formal proposal development processes when required.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to assess opportunities, identify potential alignment between organisational and stakeholder priorities, and recommend a clear course of action.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex programme and organisational priorities clearly and persuasively to both internal and external audiences.
- Strong organisational and relationship-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities at different stages while ensuring timely and consistent follow-up.
- Ability to operate proactively and independently in a changing environment, identify new opportunities and take initiative in developing relationships and solutions.
- A high degree of flexibility and adaptability, including willingness to adjust priorities and working arrangements in response to major humanitarian emergencies.
- Fluency in English and Turkish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Legal right to work in Türkiye at the time of application.
