See your match score & applyThe Digital Platform Officer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the Siap Kerja Ketapang digital platform to ensure it remains reliable, accessible, and supports increased employment opportunities and local workforce development in Ketapang, Indonesia. This role involves routine system maintenance, security management, feature development, user experience enhancement, and technical support to administrators and program teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of the Siap Kerja Ketapang digital platform to ensure optimal, stable, secure, and accessible operation.
- Monitor website performance, identify and resolve technical issues, and implement preventive measures against service disruptions.
- Maintain database, optimize website speed, monitor server and hosting, perform regular data backups and restore data as needed, and monitor storage capacity.
- Develop new pages, add new features, improve the administrator dashboard, develop reporting modules, online forms, search systems, notification features, and integrate with other systems such as the organization's LMS.
- Enhance user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to make the platform intuitive, easy to use, inclusive, and responsive across devices.
- Ensure platform security through regular updates, monitoring, malware and spam prevention, suspicious activity monitoring, and access rights management.
- Provide technical support to program teams, website administrators, and stakeholders including troubleshooting, mentoring, documentation, technical consultation, and coordination with hosting providers.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local government, schools, vocational training providers, businesses, palm oil companies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-sector coordination to support the implementation of Siap Kerja Ketapang.
- Identify and develop collaboration opportunities to expand youth access to training, internships, employment, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.
- Manage program communication to enhance youth engagement and knowledge sharing.
- Support use of Learning Management System (LMS) for teachers and participants.
- Assist in program administrative and financial documentation management.
- Ensure compliance with child and youth protection policies and organizational safeguarding policies.
- Identify protection risks and develop community-based reporting mechanisms and mitigation plans.
- Collect and document program activities including attendance, meeting minutes, feedback forms, tests, and maintain participant and activity databases.
- Conduct regular program monitoring, track key indicators such as participation, graduation, job placement, and retention, collect feedback, and support continuous program improvement based on data.
- Prepare monthly reports summarizing maintenance and development activities, resolved issues, security status, implemented features, challenges, and future plans.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in developing, managing, or maintaining websites or digital platforms.
- Experience in developing and maintaining web applications using relevant frameworks or Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience in managing databases, servers, domains, and hosting.
- Experience in troubleshooting, bug fixing, and optimizing application performance.
- Experience in web application security management and performing data backup and recovery.
- Experience collaborating with various stakeholders including program teams, technology vendors, and government or private institutions is an advantage.
- Experience working in rural or plantation areas is an advantage.
- Good facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with diverse youth groups.
- Understanding of child protection principles, safeguarding, and youth development.
- Willingness to live in remote locations and travel under difficult conditions.
- Experience working in West Kalimantan, especially in the Cargill area, is preferred.
- Commitment to high-quality work and discipline in providing simple reports and timely documentation of progress and activities.
- Ability to ride a motorcycle with the appropriate license.
