Consultant - Child Protection in Education

The consultant will support the KREASI Child Protection Specialist in Indonesia by strengthening child protection monitoring, providing advocacy and knowledge products, facilitating cross-district learning, and supporting reporting and presentations to key stakeholders. The role involves technical input on child protection systems in education and collaboration with government ministries and partners.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine child protection monitoring tools and support national progress analysis using MEAL data.
• Provide technical inputs and evidence to strengthen district-level child protection working groups (POKJA BSAN) and national policy processes.
• Facilitate structured cross-district learning sessions and document best practices and lessons learned.
• Support preparation of consolidated reporting inputs and presentation materials for government ministries and partners.
• Collaborate closely with KREASI Child Protection Specialist and Education Manager to ensure quality and timely delivery of outputs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social sciences, education, child protection, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in child protection in education or related sectors.
• Experience with monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) systems, preferably DevResults.
• Proven ability to analyze data and synthesize findings for advocacy and policy development.
• Experience working with government agencies, education sectors, and child protection systems in Indonesia or similar contexts.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for cross-district learning and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage deliverables within timelines.
• Experience in developing knowledge products, advocacy materials, and reports related to child protection.
