See your match score & applyThe Enumerator (Data Collector) will conduct in-person and phone call data collection with designated individuals, ensuring accurate and confidential data gathering. The role supports data entry and office documentation tasks on an ad-hoc, part-time basis within the Emergency Response team in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and phone call data collection with designated individuals.
- Ensure clear communication with respondents regarding the purpose and timing of interviews.
- Complete questionnaires accurately and comprehensively during interviews.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all respondent information obtained during interviews.
- Store data securely and do not disclose it to unauthorized individuals or parties.
- Promptly report any issues or challenges encountered during data collection to the Emergency Response Coordinator.
- Support office work including documentation, scanning, and uploading to specified folders.
- Perform data entry to selected Excel tools to digitalize paper-based information when needed.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately gather information using various tools and methods, ensuring the reliability of the data collected.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and error-free data collection.
- Basic understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) processes is helpful but not mandatory.
- Comfortable using digital tools or software for data collection to ensure data integrity.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse respondents, especially on sensitive topics.
- Empathy, sensitivity, and professionalism in interactions, maintaining integrity, respect, and ethics.
- Adaptability and resilience to adjust to changing situations or environments.
- Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility to complete tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working with NRC, particularly in a Data Collector position, is an advantage.
